Immerse yourself in contemporary Ukrainian cinema at FilmKoepel during the PROMIN’ Festival, presented in partnership with Haarlem4Ukraine. From May 22 to 24, 2026, the programme unfolds as a journey through today’s Ukraine – intimate, raw, and deeply human. These are stories shaped by memory, identity, and the quiet (and not-so-quiet) presence of war, told with urgency, tenderness, and distinct cinematic voices. The lineup brings together some of the most compelling Ukrainian filmmakers working today, including Pavlo Ostrikov, Kateryna Gornostai, Alisa Kovalenko, and others, each offering a unique perspective on a country in motion. All films are screened with English subtitles
